HOW DO YOU LIKE IT? (#18)
What question comes after, "What would you do?" I believe it's, "How do you like it?" That's right, it's HOW DO YOU LIKE IT? Tuesday.
It's a 'hopping, snap-to-it' week for me so moving right over to the question that I have for you today...
And your thoughts? I'm anxiously awaiting.
By the way, if you didn't catch my WHAT WOULD YOU DO? post from yesterday, take a gander. I had some fun with it!
It's a 'hopping, snap-to-it' week for me so moving right over to the question that I have for you today...
How do you like to view your sunsets? I am leaving this as an open-ended question rather than providing a couple of choices because I know the number of choices is far more than two.My ideal view of a sunset is to be on a grassy knoll or bluff at the shores of Maui, Hawaii, lying in a hammock, sipping on some tropical drink or cervesa, soaking up nature's painted skies as the sun slips slowly past the horizon. Ah! The perfect sunset. The perfect end to the day! Trust me...I've seen that view and it's somehing to behold. Slip in someone special on that hammock and I'm probably looking at heaven's sunset.
And your thoughts? I'm anxiously awaiting.

You stole a part of mine...
In a hammock (a Pawley Island rope hammock please) between to massive old oak trees in the mountains of Virginia... the sun setting over the Blue Ridge, a light breeze blowing... that special person nuzzled next to me, their head on my chest, my arm around them, the mountains get that "blue" haze to them as the sun sets over the Shenandoah valley... just feeling that "Sweet Virginia Breeze"...
Well THANKS A LOT - now I am really homesick!
cool breeze, unobstructed view, either sitting or walking or driving a convertible. Rural country or seaside is best for me.
I grew up sometime on Western Michigan, so many of my fondest childhood memories include sunsets over Lake Michigan, lighthouse nearby.
They make me very thoughtful and spiritual, to be standing on the shore seeing another day's end.
I hope that when I die, my ashes can be scattered at Point Betsie, at the time of a brilliant sunset.
That would be nice.
I like to take mine on a roof somewehre urban, preferably manattan with the dieing light reflecting on the buildings, and a bottle of something nice and my ipod on.
The best sunsets I ever saw were on the island of St. Croix. Christiansted side, where the old run down bar is on the beach there. Probably long washed away by now.
When I can, I take the boyfriend to the end of the HB Pier, on the other side of the Ruby's Diner, stand at the very tip where the railings point over the Pacific and watch the Sun go down.
The most memorable sunset I've ever seen was taking a cruise on my friends boat and watching the sun go down over the water while on Lake Michigan, so I'd have to say on a boat, and if I could be snuggling with someone then that would be the best way to see a sunset in my opinion!
On a boat off of the Florida keys. Naked. The sunset ends with a green flash, and then other things begin.
lately I've been craving a sunset. For 3 years I used to walk down on the beach and enjoy them each day. So I would just like it, to wake up on the beach and look out and watch a beautiful sunrise like I used to have every day.
I loved the sunsets from the top of Snowshoe Mountain when I lived there...especially in the fall when the mountains were full of color... I did also love the sunsets when we were in Mexico as the sun set over the Pacific... sunsets are just pretty regardless and even better if someone is there to share it with you...
From the beach or the roof deck of island retreat. I do love it when after dinner everyone gathers on the roof to view the sunset. It's magical.
