FRIDAY'S "WHAT'S UP FOR THE WEEKEND?"

Well, I blew of both work and school today. Mind you I completed my class assignment for today. I just wasn't there to do the presentation portion. I emailed both my paper and Powerpoint presentation to the instructor to get partial credit. I showed up for my internship but spoke to one of the designers about leaving early. The designer told me to simply take the whole day off.

You wondering why I passed on school and work? I stopped by my little sister's house to check on her before work, only to have her break down and cry on my shoulders. I felt like 'sh*t!' I couldn't let her run around inn this state. So I said 'f*ck it' and made the decision that I did. And...I don't regret one minute of it now. It was the right thing to do. Now I just plan on crashing until the later side of tomorrow morning. Then a much needed workout as the 'tummy' is beginning to show some of the signs of the holiday excess. YUK!!! As for Saturday and Sunday, I'll be working on that final Art History paper and wrapping up coordination of my Powerpoint presentation with my personal administrative assistant! Should I complete things out early, I have no idea how I might treat myself.

So now that I have said my piece, I'd love to know, "What's up for YOUR weekend?" Remember, it can be simple and basic to something extreme. Anything is worth mentioning.

ABSOLUTELY THRILLED THAT THE WEEKEND IS UPON US!

Before I forget, with today being World AIDS Day, 'click on the ribbon' to connect to Bristol-Meyers link. Light the candle on the link and have a dollar donated by Bristol-Meyers to AIDS research. How simple is that!!!! I just hope this works. If not, the link is https://www.lighttounite.org/ .

Hey Tony...sorry everything seems to be hitting all at once but life tends to do that sometimes.

Your sister as well as you are in my thoughts and just know that all this sadness will pass.

You have many friends (looked at your comments lately?) and a great support network. You are loved!

You did not surprise us (not that you intended it as a surprise) when you set your sister above yourself.

...nor when you called us out for World AIDS Day.

Thanks!

As for the weekend, SOSO. I'm going to try to get the C'mas letter done and duplicated.

Somehow I knew you'd take time to care for your sister. Hope she's getting through this okay.

For us, it's a weekend of shopping and fun. Hopefully we'll get some good boating weather. If not, bad boating weather is great shopping weather.

*hugs*

We're going over to see little Aaron tonight, tomorrow Mike works so I'm going Christmas shopping, maybe we'll go out if we feel like it but nothing planned. I'm ready to get my last day of our sales traing over with today! I'm a week behind now.

Saturday morning I'm spending time with Mark's brother and his family. Mark's out of town so I am getting them into the Parks and spending time with them. They've never been to Animal Kingdom so it will be fun showing them around. Saturday night is my company's Holiday Gala (I hate PC wording). Sunday morning I'm planning on getting tied up by a leather daddy and in the evening there's my brother's office party.

Hope your sister is doing better, how lucky she is to have someone as loving and careing as her big brother!

Probably a laid back weekend with the kids, maybe pick up Grammy and take her to lunch.

Oh and on Saturday night I'll be recording with Dan & Jimmi on their podcast. I'm exited about that :)

Have a great weekend Tony!

:)

I came here to comment and encourage you.....but after reading the comments, I can't think of anything else that hasn't been said.....sounds like you're in good blogger hands already!
I'm thinking about scrubbing the floor with a toothbrush, picking the lint outta my belly button with the tweezers, and making mad passionate love to the hot neighbor guy (with my partner watching, of course)

My weekend plans are a birthday party for my boyfriend's great niece and then a holiday party in Los Feliz. Sunday, we may go see Volver now that it's showing in more theaters. Other than that, lots and lots of doing nothing.

Big brother to the rescue. You're a good man, Tony!

I have a dinner party to attend on Sat. night with Jimmi, so I should have some dirt from that to share :)

Have a great weekend, and be sure to treat yourself, you deserve it!!!

Tony,

Nice to hear you were there for your sister. I'm sure it meant quite a bit.

This weekend? Well, as you probably know by now Karen and Dan had their baby - twin boys actually (Lucas & Ben, one month premature, however no complications). So I'm taking some time to pick out a few gifts for the little guys.

I've been given the honor of being godfather to Lucas, the "older" one. In that case I figure I better get in the game and do the obligatory "spoil the kid routine"!

Testing your theory...this is CityWOOF. I went to a World Aids Day vigil downtown, bought a Christmas tree and on Sunday I start rehearsals for my lastest show, "Where's Charley?".
Hope this works. Holiday hugs,
Mark

Hey Tony!
I believe I spoke to you for a few seconds this evening - and my caller ID sort of supports this LOL. But I'm down for the count - the rest of the evening, and will try tracking you down over the next few days. Guess I'm in a malaise/daze over this whole pneumonia thing! LOL Hope you had a great weekend!
