FRIDAY'S "WHAT'S UP FOR THE WEEKEND?"
So it's 1:00am Friday morning. I just spent the last two hours reading all my blogroll and commenting. I so love to check in with everyone. In any event, I need to post something but have no inspiration. I start to ponder what I plan to do this weekend and then the little "lightbulb" in the ol' noggin pops on! I know what I'll be doing this weekend but I have no clue what you are all doing.
With that mentioned, I'd like to know, " What's up for the weekend?" Tell me what you have planned. It can be as simple as picking your nose to as extreme-charged as parasailing the Grand Canyon. In other words it's all worth mentioning.
I have a make-up time on weightlifting and cardio workouts to do, a paper and presentation to proof (more like learn about...thanks Spider), a niece to visit to wish her a happy belated birthday and give her the gift I have, and a theatrical production of Riverdance to see Sunday evening. Am I glad it's the weekend.

I've got to do laundry...and clean my apartment. Sounds fun, doesn't it? Saturday night I plan on going out with some friends. I'm sure my lov-ah will be over, and if not then someone else will get lucky...
JEff is leaving for ATL on Monday and reconstruction begins on Monday too, so we must get he and Carey packed (carey is going to Indiana) and get the house ready for a week of work... fun fun fun... I am sure some vodka frescas will be taken in too
tonight is our friend Dan's birthday, so we're going to that place we took ya'll the Brick, maybe some Hawaain martini's, no I plan on being good tonight, so I can have a productive day off, we'll see huh?
No plans Saturday, but Sunday we're driving to Fort Lauderdale to attend the closing of the sale of our condo (scheduled for Monday morning). After that, we'll either faint in relief or prance around in glee.
I go on vacation. California here I come!!
Hopefully, by Sunday night the living room will be painted and if I am lucky, the bathroom will be completed also...

I've got a private computer client to attend to (reassemble her pc after a move) and lots of yard work to deal with. Not too heavy a schedule
We are going down to south Florida when Mark gets back in on the red-eye from California. He's got a gift certificate to Leatherwerks that he has to use before it expires. I will do alittle shopping myself. I still need my own pair of chaps.
Have I mentioned I leave for a week-long cruise on Sunday?

picking one's nose is infinitely cheaper than cigarettes, but alas no prettier.
Someone comes home late tonight. I will want to pounce all weekend, but I know he will be anxious to 'get the house ready' for his dinner party for work next Tuesday.
I'll finally put away all the Hallowe'en props and decorations too.
Heighho the glamorous life.

My home life has been turbulent this week (to say the least), so my bf and I are going to try to kill one another through dehydration and minor abrasions.
The usual chores (Laundry, housecleaning). Going to see a play which my niece is performing in. The weather's going to be in the 70's (which is super-nice for November in Maryland); so I'm going to the beach with a couple of friends from college days. We're leaving on Sunday and coming back late Monday or early Tuesday. So I really need to laundry. I think everything I own is dirty LOL.
By the way, I haven't seen them since college LOL. So it's been over 30 years LOL. It should be interesting
I actually got up early, I wasn't too martini'd, I only had two like last time when I was with ya'll. But Mike at 5. So I'm sure he's feeling like crap today at work. I've already bathed the dog, and started cleaning.
We are going to lounge around the house, do some shopping and then on Sunday I'm doing another training ride... 31 miles this time...
Raking leaves, designing the tile backsplashes for my kitchen remodel, moving out the furniture, cleaning, and reassembling my bedroom, focusing on today, and focusing on long term goals, vaccuming upstairs, burn a couple of DVD's for friends.
I had to put a few hours in at the office on Saturday and we're dogsitting our friend's lab & pit bull. We'll spend Sunday battening down the hatches in preparation for a windstorm that's blowing in Sunday night.
We'll probably be without power Monday morning but that's okay...I love windstorms.
I am not really doing anything this weekend. Worked on Saturday. Spent the day relaxing, reading blogs, ect. Not a stellar weekend!
